This is a very rare sight for Rota waters and I only know of 12 or less sightings since 1986.

This Whale Shark (Rhincodon typus) was seen by a group of divers on January 24, 2013 off the southern tip of the "Wedding Cake Mountain."

It stayed with the divers for a while and then headed off into the open ocean.
